Refund Policy

BuildBaseKit sells downloadable source-code products. Because access cannot normally be revoked after delivery, purchases are generally final, with limited exceptions described below.

Digital purchases are normally final

A digital source-code purchase is normally final once access to the purchased files has been delivered through the purchase channel. BuildBaseKit does not offer a blanket no-questions-asked refund period for delivered source code.

When a refund may be considered

  • a duplicate charge for the same product and purchaser
  • the purchased files cannot be delivered through the original purchase channel
  • a material defect in the unmodified product that support can reproduce but cannot reasonably resolve
  • a refund required by the payment processor’s applicable rules
  • a refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other remedy required by applicable law

A qualifying situation allows BuildBaseKit to review the request; it does not create an automatic refund except where a refund or other remedy is legally required.

Situations not normally eligible

  • change of mind after source access has been delivered, except where applicable law provides a non-waivable right
  • lack of the Java, Spring Boot, database, cloud, or deployment knowledge required to use the product
  • custom requirements or integrations not included in the product description
  • failure to review the documented compatibility or setup requirements
  • issues caused by substantial modification, unrelated application code, or third-party services

How to request a review

Email hello@buildbasekit.com with the purchase email, order or receipt information, product name, and a clear explanation of the issue. For a claimed defect, include reproducible steps and relevant non-sensitive error details.

Gumroad and payment processor rules

Transactions processed through Gumroad may also be subject to Gumroad’s transaction and refund rules, payment-provider requirements, and mandatory consumer rights applicable to the transaction. An approved refund may need to be processed through the original payment channel.

Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
